About the Owner I started out my love for fashion and design at Brooks College in Long Beach, California. I graduated from there with a fashion merchandising degree and worked in retail as a manager and merchandiser for over 7 years. Working with color, balance, detail, fabric as well as training others gave me a jump start into the interior design world. I took classes at West Valley College in Saratoga, California, one of only 3 schools in the state that have the Fader Program accreditation for interior design. I opened up my own interior design business in 2002 and been enjoying my new profession ever since. My husband and I moved to Idaho in May of 2004 and are very happy with living in Meridian. Early on I saw the need in this valley for staging homes, so with support from my husband and friends I started The Added Touch home staging business. I love helping people get ready to sell their homes, especially when I have moved twice myself and know it can be very stressful.
